Ginger Red Old English Game Bantam
COMB, FACE, WATTLES AND EAR LOBES: Bright red.
BEAK: Horn.
EYES: Red.
SHANKS & TOES: Medium shade of slaty blue.
PLUMAGE: Refer to ginger red color description.
GINGER RED PLUMAGE:

HEAD: Lustrous red.
NECK: Hackle lustrous bright orange yellow free from striping.
Front of Neck - ginger yellow.
BACK: Lustrous rich red.
SADDLE: Lustrous bright orange yellow, free from striping.
TAIL: Main Tail - black. Sickles and Lesser Sickles - lustrous
black, with beetle green sheen. Coverts - lustrous greenish
black, laced with red.
WINGS: Shoulders, Fronts, Bows and Coverts - rich red. Primaries
- dull black, lower edges ginger red. Secondaries - dull black,
outer edges forming wing bay, ginger red.
BREAST: Ginger red, becoming darker as thighs are approached.
BODY, STERN & LOWER THIGHS: Dusky red. Stern - Fluff, slate
tinged with red.
UNDERCOLOR: Slate in all sections.
Color of Female:
HEAD: Soft ginger yellow.
NECK: Hackle - golden yellow, striped with black. Front of Neck
- ginger yellow.
BACK & CUSHION: Ginger yellow, stippled with black.
TAIL: Main Tail - Dull black, except two top Feathers which
should be stippled with ginger. Coverts - same as back.
WINGS: Shoulders, Fronts, Bows & Coverts - ginger yellow,
stippled with black. Primaries - dull black, lower edges light
ginger. Secondaries - dark ginger, lower edges forming wing bay,
lightly stippled with black.
BREAST: Even shade of ginger yellow.
BODY & STERN: Body - dull ginger. Stern - fluff, slate,
tinged with ginger.
LOWER THIGHS: Dull ginger.
UNDERCOLOR: Slate in all sections.
Disqualifications:
White in any section of the plumage.
Defects:
Frosty or mooney lacing in breast of female - Striping in hackle
and saddle of male - Sooty appearance in breast of
female.
