chicken at this residence. Bought at Boomer's Feed. Hatched May
'99. Two weeks old when we brought him home. |
Henny Penny. A Banty Rhode Island Red. A
replacement for a "pullet" we bought that started crowing
(pullet=young hen). From Boomer's Feed. Probably hatched in '98.
About a year old when we picked her out. Has 10 chicks at the
time of this photograph (June, '00). A good hen. 100% hatch and
all healthy! |

a bunch headed for Chinese restaurant. Bought at Boomer's Feed.
Hatched about March '99. About 3 months old when we got him.
Watches over all the hens and pens. Thinks all the hens are his.

bought on first day of Spring. For eggs to eat and to give the
neighbors (who are very patient about all the crowing around
